This is the famous and beautiful cathedral of Florence, made from white Carrara marble and green and pink marble from other areas of Italy. The crowds were impressive too! Our guide, Paola, was extremely knowledgeable. She told me she would like to move to the States, but would have no chance of getting a Green Card.
